Far Superior

He is far superior to the angels

He is exalted above the earth

Though He came to save as a lowly one

He is lifted high as the Lord

He is the Son to the Father

And all the angels will fall down in praise

The Lord is high over all the angels

His glory surpasses all earthly things

His name is superior, inherited

His name, His name is the Lord our God

He is perfect, the exact representation

He sustains all things through His word

The Lord our Savior, is heir to the universe

Heir to the angels, and heir to us,

The Son of God, our God, is heir to all,

Through Him, the universe was made

Through Him, all our debts were paid

His angels are Spirits, flames of fire

The reign of His Son will go on forever

The Son of our Father will always be just

He radiates righteousness, always does good,

The Lord our Savior is anointed with oil

Exalted above all others and all His companions

Our Savior is our Maker and all the world's Creator

He laid the foundations of the earth in His timing

Created the heavens with His hands

To us, the created, the heavens are magnificent

We are dwarfed in comparison, nothing seems greater

But God, our Lord, Savior, and Creator, He is greater

And all the universe-heavens and earth-will end

Even then, when all we know is discarded and worn out

The Lord, The Son, our Maker, our God, He will remain

The same, unchanged, unaged, unfazed.

The Lord our God, the Son sent to earth

He is above all earthly things, and likewise above the angels

The angels serve the righteous ones

The angels serve the chosen ones

Those chosen to inherit salvation

But the Lord our Savior is no angel

No, his magnificent holiness is far above any angel

He reigns superior.

This poem comes from Hebrews 1, it was my thoughts and understanding of the passage over a couple of days, if it is compared to the actual passage in the NIV version you can see several lines that came directly from the chapter, sorry, I couldn't help it, they just fit in so well :).
