Perfect in Weakness
Perfect in Weakness
He said unto me:
"My grace is sufficient for thee,
for My strength is made perfect in weakness"
and His grace is sufficient for me.
So I stand,
a vessel of weakness before the King
So I stand,
A vessel of clay ready for the filling
So I stand,
head bowed in submission before my King
So I stand,
and say, "Lord I am willing"
"do with me as you will"
and Lo and Behold He fills me with treasure
though I deserve to be filled with none
And Lo and Behold He gives me what's precious
when truly I deserve less than filth
For today He has taken the unworthy
and called it clean in His eyes
And I am arrested in the beauty
of His all seeing gaze
He took what alone had no beauty
and filled it with the glorious
So she who was simple couldn't help
But let that bright glory shine through her
And where she was broken,
where she was cracked,
In those places his glory shone brighter,
Shining through the cracks in her clay,
For truly in weakness His power is perfect
And truly His grace is sufficient for me.
