We, His people, are chosen

we were foreknew by the Father Before.

sanctified by the blood as predestined

obedient to the Word, the Christ

We are scattered through the nations

strangers in this world we live in

For we are in the world, yet not of it

Strangers in the land we know

For the blood in our veins is different

The blood in our veins is His

We were once of the world

but he put his blood in us

gave His blood to us

that we wouldn't die

that we could live

the blood in our veins is His

His fire in our veins

His glory on our face

His praise on our lips

His gospel in our hearts

His words in our mouths

His purpose in our lives

His power in our footsteps

His peace in our lives

His blood in our veins.
