A broken sinner approaches the throne of God

prostrate and despairing

head down heart fallen

feet bruised from falling off the way

stopping before reaching the throne

too broken to be useful

The King rises

steps off his throne

and picks up His prodigal daughter

lifts her and carries her

holds her head against Himself

and confirms His love for her.
