A Few Short Poems

Here are a few short poems I found, they were probably written when I was between 10 and 13.

My Rose

My rose,
why are you drooping?
My sweet blushing rose.
You're turning your
blossoming face away;
Looking at the ground.
Your sunny face,
stood beaming at the sun
what changed?
Dear Rose.

What Do You Do?

What do you do when reach a cliff?
When there's a deep abyss right in front of you?

Do you stop in your tracks,
and turn around
Or do you end your life,
and jump right off?

What do you do when you reach a cliff?
When there's a deep abyss right in front of you?

What do you do when the path is broken?
When you can't find your way and you know you're lost?

Do you keep on walking,
or do you turn around?
Do you stop in your tracks,
do you sit on the ground?

What do you do when the path is broken?
When you can't find your way and you know you're lost?

What do you do when you reach a ladder?
It's going to heaven, but you're afraid of heights?

Do you keep on walking,
ignore it and leave?
Or do you stop in your tracks,
and climb right up?

What do you do when you reach a ladder,
It's going to heaven, but you're afraid of heights.

Dawn is Arising

Dawn is arising-
in the midst of the darkness.
Hope is forming-
in a world of sin.
Spring is arriving-
where winter dominated.

There is growth.
There is hope.
Where hope was lost,
Its found again.

And joy has come.

Forever Closed

What dreary smile takes stead of
the happy joy you had.

What blank face takes place of
pretty dimples.

Alas, the joy is gone,
and now the sparkling eyes forever closed.

Were that I knew,
the place of heart in yours
mine own did take.
