Ever Lost

A world of beaten, hurting children;

unmatured and unmaturing,

knowing what they shouldn't know,

fighting what they should accept,

accepting what they should deny,

growing every weary,

ever foolish,

ever lost.

Hiding from themselves,

revealing to strangers.

Claiming justice,

yet promoting injustice.

Despising their Creator,

denying their Savior,

ignoring their true love,

hating their Father,

losing their freedom.
