Ode to Father

A father not perfect, but loving and strong
Protector, father, husband, son
Teacher, preacher, uncle, in one
Protector of his daughters, he keeps them safe.
Father of four, he works to keep them well.
Husband to his wife, and her protector also.
Son of his mother who brought him up well.
Teacher to his son, but also to his daughters
Pastoring at 8 o-clock sharp, Monday thru Friday
Uncle to his nephews and nieces both,
He does all his work and does it well
following the will of the bible.
