At Another's Expense

Sometimes we just want comfort,
So we try to get it at another expense.
And we don't think of others first,
We only think of ourselves.
We are and act like selfish pigs,
And we refuse to be otherwise,
We only do what helps ourselves,
We look not to the hurts of others.
We say what we want,
Because that makes us happy.
We do what we will,
Because that makes us comfortable.
We hurt and destroy,
Because we don't care about others.
We are always first;
Nothing is above ourselves,
We justify our sin,
And testify to win,
Yet all our testifying,
And "truthful" Justifying,
Is false and all is lying.
Yet we don't care,
We want what we want,
And nothing better get in our way,
Because anything in our path
Will be destroyed, because we are first.
We are first, nothing is before,
We will get everything we want,
A want is a need-and we need everything,
But we fall into justifying needing everything.
