Like wind on an open pipe
Whistling,
Sounding,
Slowly,
Soft.
The Voice of the Lord
Some don't expect it, yet they hear it
Some wish to mute it, but still it sounds
Some listen deeply, hoping to hear
What is whispering in their heart
Softly, speaking truth,
Whispering in the keyhole of your locked door
In the still
In the silent
In the night
In the day
At your table
At your job
When you sit
When you lay
When you stand
When you play
Stealing in when least expected
Softly saying
"Open you heart"
