And no birds sing,

and pigeons fall from the sky

and pheasants die from eating rice

and migratory birds are terminated,

and insecticide is pointed to the sky,

and the big corporations are lying,

and no one is paying attention.

IN EUROPE

Scotland is massed sprayed

To rid it of miscellaneous insects,

All their birds die,

Then the foxes eat the dying birds

Then the foxes die.

MEANWHILE IN THE STATES

DDT is dusted on California rice,

When planted the pheasants eat the rice,

then hunters used to fun pleasantry in the fields,

find all the birds dying of "sickness"

California keeps dusting the rice.

Southern states spray their fields,

to rid it of the eating insects,

the crows eat the dying insects,

the crows die.

Southern states start spraying the skies.

Months before treated with Parathion,

Suddenly go into shock, and soon are paralyzed,

only by the good work of doctors,

are they scarcely saved from death.
