I Can’t but He’ll Help

I say what I don’t want to say
And what I want to say is truth.
I don’t do what I should do.
What my mind says
My self ignores.
My self does evil, and sin.
I do what I detest.
I hear the Lord and read his word,
But my actions and words don’t account for it
I cannot do what I want to do
No matter how hard I try
But if I lean on Christ,
Ask him for help not myself,
A change will soon follow
