In God's Hand

In God’s Hand

An early robin hopping on the grass
Snow falls, yet you provide the robin with warmth.
Under a bush huddled under a pile of leaves and moss,
You Lord, watch and cover the Robin.
As it waits out the early spring snow,
You protect it, and cover it with warmth
As the wind rages, and the grass grows a blanket of snow
The little bird finds comfort in your face.
Than you bring out the sun and melt the snow,
The grass grows greener and the flowers bloom,
And the hardship only gave glory room.
And the snow only brought streams,
And the cold only gave way to warmth,
And I, Oh Lord, am the robin.
